Many of you found us through the free call I conducted in February for corporate executives who are feeling stuck or trapped in their careers. For myself, I found that one of the most painful things about being stuck was thinking that I was the only one feeling that way — especially when it appeared to others that I was doing really well. That feeling of isolation and not knowing what to do or how to get “unstuck” was really difficult. It’s important to realize that people/corporations do what works for them. From your vantage point the situation probably seems obvious. Realize that you are drawing conclusions and making judgments based on your standards about what is “right” and, as his subordinate, you likely do not have all the information regarding what value your boss provides to the company.  read more
